Fotografie is leren… Jezelf elke dag blijven uitdagen en ontwikkelen!

Ongeveer 3 jaar geleden werd mij gevraagd om een aantal acties en algemene foto’s te maken voor de website van de tafeltennisclub TTV De Veluwe Apeldoorn. Zo ben ik in 2016 begonnen met het maken van mijn allereesrte tafeltennis foto’s. Het was hard werken om de juiste foto’s te maken, vanwege het weinige licht en het snelle spel. Toen ik huis kwam, na mij eerste shoot, was ik dan ook best tevreden met het resultaat. Naarmate ik deze sport vaker ben gaan fotograferen in combinatie met het bekijken van andere tafeltennis en indoor sportfoto’s van andere fotografen, zag ik mezelf steeds beter worden. De belichting en compositie zijn nu een stuk beter dan in mijn eerste opnames.

Een paar weken geleden heb ik opnieuw naar mijn gemaakte series gekeken en voelde dat mijn witbalans toch niet zo goed was. Met mijn kennis van nu zie ik dat ik er iets te veel rood in had. Dus begon ik een aantal oude foto’s opnieuw te bewerken en ik ben nu gelukkiger met de resultaten.

Photography is learning…. Challenge and develop yourself every day!

Almost 3 years ago I was asked to make some actions and overall shots for the website of the table tennis club TTV De Veluwe Apeldoorn. Thats how I started in 2016 taking my first table tennis shots. It was hard working to get the right photos that I want, due to the low light and the fast game. When I came home, after my first shoot, I was very happy with the result. After shooting this sport more often in combination with looking to other table tennis and indoor sports photos from other photographers, I felt to become better and better. The lighting and composition are now a lot better than in my first shots.

A few weeks ago I looked to my series again and felt that my white balance was not that good. With the knowledge today, It seems that Ihad too much red in it. So I started to edit some old photos again, and now I am happier with the results.

My best sport photo of 2018

Ik denk dat ik wel met zekerheid kan zeggen dat dit mijn mooiste sportfoto van 2018 is! De kleuren, de belichting, de korreligheid en de actie maken het tot mijn favoriete sportfoto van het jaar! De foto is genomen op 3 november 2018 tijdens een jeugd competitie wedstrijd van TTV De Veluwe.

TOP table tennis in Apeldoorn!

Dit seizoen 2018/2019 komt het eerste van TTV De Veluwe, in de najaarscompetitie, uit in de landelijke eerste divisie. Het team bestaat uit grote kampioenen – Paul Halden (OS Barcelona 1992), Ron en Jaap van Spanje, en Thao Mai – die in jaren 90 al floreerden en grote successen hebben behaald. Daarnaast speelt ook de kersverse Nederlands Jeugd Master Kampioen 2018 Lode Hulshof (15 jaar) in het eerste team.

Ook bij de jeugd wordt er fanatiek en met veel plezier op diverse niveaus tafeltennis gespeeld. Het eerste jeugdteam speelt zelfs competitie op hoofdklasse niveau.

Lijkt het je leuk om TOP tafeltennis te zien in Apeldoorn, kom dan een keer op zaterdag naar TTV De Veluwe in Apeldoorn…

Enkele jaren geleden ben ik gevraagd om voor de website van TTV De Veluwe wat overzicht/actie foto’s te maken. This season 2018/2019 will the first team of TTV De Veluwe come out, in the autumn competition, in the national first division. The team consists of great champions – Paul Halden (Olympic Games Barcelona 1992), Ron and Jaap van Spanje and Thao Mai – who already flourished and had great successes in the 90s. Even The Dutch Youth Master Champion 2018 Lode Hulshof (15 years old) plays for the the first team.

Also the youth of TTV de Veluwe plays with a lot of energy and enthusiasm at various levels. The first youth team even plays competition at Hoofdklasse level.

Zondag 18 februari was ik weer eens, na een paar maanden van afwezigheid, gaan kijken bij een tafeltennis competitie wedstrijd van TTV De Veluwe 1. TTV De Veluwe, uitkomend in de Landelijke First Division Competitie moest deze dag uit tegen TTV Hilversum. Op papier zouden het spannende wedstrijden worden, aangezien beide teams dicht bij elkaar op de ranglijst stonden. Helaas verloor TTV De Veluwe met 8-2 van TTV Hilversum. Des ondanks heb ik erg genoten en ook nog eens enkele fraaie plaatjes van deze ontmoeting kunnen maken. Kortom het voelde goed om weer met mijn camera terug in de tafeltennis arena te staan. Mijn foto’s zijn te bewonderen op mijn Flickr pagina.

Sunday 18 February I went, since a few months, to a table tennis match of TTV De Veluwe 1. TTV De Veluwe, plays in the First Division Competition of the Netherlands, had to play against TTV Hilversum. This confrontation should be very tough for both teams, as they have almost the same ranking. However TTV De Veluwe loses with big scores of 8-2. Nevertheless I had a great day and I took also some great pictures of this match. So it feels good to be back at the table tennis cort after a few month!
