Naast het bezoeken van de tentoonstelling heb ik ook het boek “DUTCH IDENTITY Nederlandse portretfotografie” NU aangeschaft. In dit boek gaan ze nog wat dieper in op het werk van de fotografen. Kortom de tentoonstelling in combinatie met het boek geeft een mooi beeld van de hedendaagse portretfotografie in Nederland.

Last Sunday I went to the exhibition “DUTCH IDENTITY Nederlandse portretfotografie NU in museum de Fundatie in Zwolle, the Netherlands
The exhibition shows work of 25 portrait photographers from the Netherlands and tells us why contemporary Dutch portrait photography has been held in high regard for many years, both in the Netherlands itself and on the international stage. The 25 photographers that you will find here are: Danielle van Ark, Blommers&Schumm, Koos Breukel, Joost van den Broek, Ernst Coppejans, Anton Corbijn, Linelle Deunk , Desiree Dolron, Rineke Dijkstra, Charlotte Dumas, Lucia Ganieva, Ringel Goslinga, Pieter Henket, Carli Hermès, Cuny Janssen, Danielle Kwaaitaal, Annaleen Louwes, Hellen van Meene, Vincent Mentzel, Erwin Olaf, Carla van de Puttelaar, Viviane Sassen, Martine Stig, Marie Cécile Thijs and Marcel van der Vlugt.
I also bought the book DUTCH IDENTITY Nederlandse portretfotografie NU. The combination of the exhibition and the book gives you a good representation of the dutch contemporary portrait photography.
